Which scaffold tower do I need?

Updated

Working height is roughly how high you can comfortably reach: about 2m above the platform you stand on.

DIY and occasional use (150kg)

  • Home Master DIY (working heights 4m to 7m): our own UK-patented design, supplied with ground spikes.
  • Premium DIY (4m to 7m): made in the EU and packs down very small.
  • Premium Plus DIY (4m to 7m): as Premium DIY, plus wheels and outriggers included.

Trade use

  • Trade Master Professional (3.2m to 9.1m): BS EN1004 certified, 230kg rating, folding base, and a free leg-adjustment kit giving 200mm on each wheel for uneven ground.

Industrial and site use (BS EN1004 Class 3, 950kg per tower, 275kg per platform)

  • 3T Industrial: the most configurable, with working heights from 3.2m and widths of 0.85m or 1.45m in 1.8m or 2.5m lengths.
  • AGR Industrial: Advanced Guard Rail frames make it quicker to put up and take down.
  • 8-Rung Industrial: 3.2m to 7.2m.
  • BPS Fold Out: the fastest to set up. UK made.
  • One Man Tower: can be put up by one person and fits tight spaces (0.79m x 1.45m footprint).
  • Stair Scaffold Tower: for stairwells (760mm wide).

For outdoor use, exposed sites or taller towers, always fit outriggers or stabilisers. Industrial towers include them from 4.2m working height on single-width towers and from 4.7m on double-width towers.
